RECAP: YWA Winter Celebration 2015

This year’s Young Women’s Alliance Winter Celebration captured the spirit of Austin with it’s locally supportive, laid back and festive details. Hosted and catered by Uncle Billy’s, guests feasted on a delicious BBQ dinner and were refreshed with Austin’s own Austin Cocktails.

Proceeds from ticket sales and the well-curated silent auction prize packages went to the Young Women’s Alliance Foundation– providing scholarships to young women in need and a grant for Dress For Success Austin!

Additional entertainment included an optional walk to the nearby Trail of Lights, tunes and a photobooth from Altared Weddings and a talented artist, Nathan Burgess, who delighted guests with amusing illustrated charactures throughout the night.  Trail of Lights, philanthropy, local vendors and cartoon weirdness? I’d say that’s pretty much a great Winter’s night in Austin.
