RECAP: The Second Annual Wonders and Worries Masquerade Ball

The evening of February 26th, masked guests, impeccably dressed, descended upon the JW Marriott for Unmasked, a masquerade ball benefiting Wonders and Worries, a wonderful nonprofit organization that provides complimentary professional support for children through a parent’s illness.

After a festive cocktail hour where guests mingled and became familiar with amazing auction packages, we were all invited into the main dining area, welcomed by the sweet sounds of children’s voices from The Conspirare Youth Choir.

A delicious dinner soon commenced, along with a lively auction, led by auctioneer Heath Hale. Auction packages such as an adorable white lab puppy with custom doghouse and trainer, a private concert at Stubbs with The Mrs. (the entertainment for this event) and The Wind and The Wave, a Canadian adventure package and more!

A rocking performance by the band The Mrs. and an after party with DJ Gatsby followed the dinner and auction.

This fun and classy event raised over $260,000 to benefit Wonders and Worries, helping to support children through the difficult process of witnessing a parent’s serious illness, proving that “we will, together.”
