Every year on Easter weekend, the team at Jo’s Coffee puts on a funky parade filled with holiday fun and dogs in their finest duds.
Jo’s 16th Annual Easter Pet Parade and Costume Contest starts with a gathering on the southern edge of South Congress at Hudson Meat Market.
And from there, the parade (led by the unmistakeable Bobby Johns) marched up the sidewalks of South Congress to the Jo’s parking lot where dogs dressed like Willie Nelson and Bonnie & Clyde strutted their stuff in the costume contest.
This lunchtime party is part Austin weird, part adorable spectacle, and an entirely great way to raise funds for Austin Pets Alive!
