The Feed The Peace Awards have become an impromptu kick-off for February’s “Love” holiday and Sunday night’s dinner and concert at the Four Seasons was yet another night to remember. The Nobelity Project manages to mix up just the right recipe of attendees from the worlds of music, film, television, and community supporters.
Musical entertainment ranged from The Trishas to Jack Ingram, Bruce Robison, Randy Rogers and Darden Smith. The evening’s grand finale featured hometown hero Jerry Jeff Walker, which had the crowd on its feed and dancing the night away.
One of the many programs Sunday’s gala funded is a new clean water project in Burundi, created in partnership with the evening’s “Feed the Peace” Honoree Gilbert Tuhabonye’s Gazelle Foundation.
Feed The Peace celebrates and supports The Nobelity Project’s work and mission to foster “Education for All.” This is also the primary annual fundraiser that supports the organization’s noprofit and education work in the U.S., East Africa and Latin America.
