The spring 2018 gala season shifted into drive this past Saturday as the Austin Convention Center hosted Dell Children’s IMAGINE Gala. Over 1,100 attendees sip, mingled, ate and danced the night away while raising a record $1.65 million for future Dell Children’s projects and programs.
Stacie and Craig Falls chaired the this year’s event, along with the Dell Children’s Council, who rounded out the committee.
The evening kicked off with a smartly relocated cocktail hour (sponsored by Kendra Scott) upstairs and adjacent to the ballroom. At the appointed hour, the curtains parted to reveal the dining area with Dell Children’s signature LED walls awash in creative images.
Following dinner, a lively auction led by Heath Hale and his band of cowboys got the crowd invited as they bid on a variety of travel and experience packages. These guys sure know how to whip up a frenzy in the room and proved it by raising the evening’s tally to new heights.
An after-party followed at TRIO, downstairs inside the Four Seasons Hotel Austin. The space was cleared of tables, leaving only banquettes and the bar, giving the lively dance party a nightclub feel. Guest danced their way into the wee hours while celebrating a fantastically successful night.
