The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas celebrated their 23rd Annual Bandana Ball at the magnificent Wild Onion Ranch in South Austin.

The record-breaking event raised $412,000 through the support of 850 guests. The evening’s live auction “Sponsor a Family” portion alone raised $101,500 to support local families.

Party-goers had a chance to bid on a fabulous array of almost 200 auction items. Among the luxury items up for bid included tropical getaways, a Los Angeles TV audience-filled experience and an ultimate sportsman package.

The party was filled with delectable bites by 2Dine4 Catering, specialty cocktails, mechanical bull riding (ye-haw!) and entertainment by the Spazmatics. The crowd reveled in the music and energy of the evening – that dance floor was packed until the last song was played.

The Ronald McDonald House provides lodging and support services in a nurturing, home-like environment where families stay together while caring for their critically ill or injured children receiving treatment in Austin-area hospitals.
