Austin fashion week(end) kicked off Wednesday night with a fabulous soiree honoring Katie Kime at the gorgeously sleek, light-filled and modern downtown salon and spa NAAVA. This tasteful and fun event celebrated inner beauty and acts of kindness, benefiting The Refuge for Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking – a place of rest and restoration for child survivors of sex trafficking.
125 fashionistas in attendance were pampered by NAAVA’s talented massage therapists, make-up artists, nail artists and hair stylists, fed delicious food by Gloria’s Latin Cuisine and custom craft cocktails by Sourced. Lovely floral designs by Posey Floral further helped to set the beautiful mood.
The local, celebrated designer Katie Kime was in attendance looking fresh and oh-so-pretty, wearing her own gorgeous and whimsical designs. Katie Kime featured her stylish collaborative ‘shot at life’ necklace design, a purchase of which allows 24 children from around the world to receive life-saving immunizations.
These conscious touches, along with gift bags including NAAVA Salon and Spa blow-outs, allowed attendees to leave feeling truly beautiful inside and out.
