The party started as a renegade event, then it became an official SXSW party in 2011 and this year Perez Hilton‘s One Night In Austin mixed it up once again and raised $45,000 for the arts in the process.

Last year saw lines around the venue for a chance to party all night with Perez’s curated list of entertainers. This year, the party took that momentum and focused it on a good cause – VH1 Save the Music Foundation.   Tickets were $25 or $50 for VIP and 100% of the proceeds went directly to the foundation.

The Foundation’s core mission is to restore instrumental music education programs – a perfect tie-in for this music-filled week and event.
