Esperos Soho Pop-Up, Burnet Road Eats, ALL ATX Presents: Back to the Armadillo, Central Library Opening, Black Feather Whiskey Launch

FASHION: What better way to get prepped for ACL Festival than heading by Esperos Soho as they host a pop-up for Richer Poorer tomorrow evening, Thursday, October 5th from 6pm-8pm, at their 2nd St. district location. Be among the first to get a peek at the new collection while picking up some tees, socks and sipping Prosecco. RSVP at for entry.

FOOD: TONIGHT – Wednesday, October 4th – sees the second installment of Burnet Road Eats,” a special neighborhood restaurant promotion where restaurants offer a drink and dish special (priced at $10 or under) on the first Wednesday of the month. In addition to Andiamo Ristorante, participating restaurants include Barley Swine, Bonhomie, Bufalina, Citizen Eatery, Taco Flats and The Peached Tortilla. Burnet Road Eats was created to help encourage the Austin community to experience the resurgence of the restaurant scene in North Austin along Burnet Road.

MUSIC: Tickets are now on sale for ALL ATX Presents: Back to the Armadillo on October 29th at Auditorium Shores. The show will feature an all-star celebration of Austin music benefiting Austin musicians and stars John Fogerty, Shakey Graves Jack Ingram and the Armadillo World Headquarters All Stars Featuring: Michael Martin Murphy and Gary P. Nunn, among others. Attendees can also expect short sets by Fastball, Kelly Willis, My Jerusalem, Peterson Brothers Band, Beto and the Fairlanes, Night Drive, Jane Ellen Bryant and Eric Tessmer. Tickets are $50, $75, $100 for reserved seating — $40 for GA. 

COMMUNITY:Austin’s #NewCentralLibrary opens its doors at 710 W. César Chávez St. on Saturday, October 28th . Everyone is welcome. There will be live music and fun for the kids until dusk. 10 AM Grand Opening Festivities begin at 10am, followed by a ribbon cutting. The doors will be open for all to explore from 1pm to 6pm. The celebration is free and open to the public. More information about the New Central Library,can be found online.

SPIRITS: Black Feather Whiskey holds their Texas launch party Thursday, October 5th at Seven Grand featuring specialty curated drinks, food from Freedmen’s BBQ and music from the Texas Gentlemen. Expect drinks like a Boilermaker with Black Feather American Whiskey and an Oskar Blues Mama’s Little Yella Pils. Revival Cycles Custom Motorcycles will also have a couple of their custom projects on site for viewing. The FREE event starts Starts at 8 pm with music kicking off at 9 pm.
