ACL Hall of Fame Artists Announced, Tiki Throwdown, W Austin Soundwave, Kettle & Brine Fresh Chefs Society Dinner, Willie's 4th of July Picnic

MUSIC: Austin City Limits announces an all-star lineup of performers for the 2016 ACL Hall of Fame Inductions & Celebration on October 12, 2016: Willie Nelson, Mavis Staples, Rodney Crowell, Gary Clark Jr. and Taj Mahal are slated to perform in tribute to the newest class of inductees. Comedy super couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally will emcee the evening. Tickets go on sale tomorrow! Proceeds benefit KLRU, Austin’s PBS station.

FOOD & DRINK: Treaty Oak Distillery is hosting a Tiki Throwdown this weekend. The free party will be filled with delicious tiki cocktails, Polynesian inspired food, live music and a live demonstration of tiki carving by Doug Moreland. Wear your favorite South Pacific outfit and be prepared for lots of fun. Friday-Sunday, May 20-22.

ENTERTAINMENT: Back with a new name but the same fun, the popular W Austin Sunday Funday pool party series, SOUNDWAVE, returns for its third season. Taking place Sundays and holiday Mondays, guests can relax poolside while taking in the downtown views and DJ beats from Bird Peterson. The $30 cover includes admission, complimentary valet and drinks specials.

FOOD: Kettle & Brine welcomes Chef Sonya Coté for a one-night-only ticketed dining experience, Sunday, June 5th.  The summer-themed 5-course dinner, prepared by Chef Coté and Fresh Chefs Society apprentices benefits Fresh Chefs Society. Tickets are $125 per person.

MUSIC:  Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic returns to Circuit of The Americas for the second year in a row on Monday, July 4, 2016. Willie himself will play host to one of Texas’ (and America’s) most celebrated festivals. Artists on the bill include Brantley GilbertJamey Johnson featuring special guest Alison KraussKris KristoffersonLee Ann WomackShakey GravesLeon RussellJamestown Revival, Cody Johnson and rising star Margo Price, among others.
