Waller Creek Picnic Baskets on Sale, Jason Wu featured designer at the Mack, Jack and McConaughey Fashion Show, Sellers Monthly Fundraisers, National Geographic Photographer Pete McBride Speaking at Austin Conservation Luncheon

CHARITY: Baskets are now on sale  for the fifth annual Waller Creek Picnic benefiting The Waller Creek Conservancy happening on Saturday, April 8 at 6:30 pm at Palm Park. This community picnic is an Austin favorite, inviting everyone to experience Waller Creek with friends and family. 2017 participating restaurants include: Baby Greens, Blue Dahlia Bistro, The Brewer’s Table, Bullfight, Café No Sé, Central Standard, Clark’s, Easy Tiger, Franklin Barbecue, Goodall’s Kitchen, Home Slice, June’s, Justine’s, Kemuri Tatsu-Ya, Kuneho, La Condesa, Lucy’s Fried Chicken, Noble Sandwiches, Olamaie, Patricia’s Table, Salt Lick BBQ, Sway, and Uchiko.

FASHION: Mack, Jack & McConaughey announced today that iconic fashion designer Jason Wu will show his latest collection at the exclusive MJ&M Fashion Show and Luncheon at the JW Marriott Austin on Friday, April 21. The show is hosted by Sally Brown, Amy Ingram and Camila Alves McConaughey with support from Neiman Marcus. Also announced this week, Grammy-award winning vocal group Little Big Town will perform at the Jack Ingram & Friends concert, as well as Kris Kristofferson, on April 21 at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.

CHARITY: Sellers, Austin’s underground cocktail lounge located in the Warehouse District, will host monthly fundraisers, donating 10 percent of Sunday sales to a different Austin-based charity each month. Sellers local partner organizations include:

CONSERVATION: Award-winning National Geographic photographer Pete McBride will be speaking next week at The Nature Conservancy of Texas 22nd Annual Austin Conservation Luncheon on Wednesday, March 29 at the JW Marriott Austin from 11 am-1 pm. McBride will lead attendees on Adventures on the Wild River, a breathtaking account of his voyages along the Colorado River.
