Blanton Museum Art on the Edge and Nina Katchadourian Exhibit, Austin Under 40 Awards Finalists, Amplify Austin Day, Seton Breast Care Center's Pink Ladies Society

ART: Celebrated Brooklyn-based artist, Nina Katchadourian opens her new exhibition Nina Katchadourian: Curiouser at the Blanton Museum of Art on March 12th.  The exhibition will feature photography, video, sculpture, sound art and performance.  Guests of Art on the Edge on March 11th will be the first to see the it. The black-tie night includes live music, open bar with signature cocktails and complimentary light bites. Tickets are on sale now.

CHARITY: The Austin Under 40 Awards announced their 2017 finalists in 16 different categories. The full list can be found here. Winners will be announced at a black-tie event on April 1st at the JW Marriott. Tickets are now on sale for the evening.

NONPROFIT: At 6:00 pm today, March 2nd, and running for 24 hours, the city will come together to raise $9 million collectively for Amplify Austin day. More than 700 nonprofits headquartered and serving in Travis and surrounding counties are participating in this annual day devoted to giving back in Austin!

CHARITY: Seton Breast Care Center announced a new membership program – The Pink Ladies Society. The Pink Ladies Society is a sponsor program that provides 4 “Lunch and Learns” with catered food on interesting topics presented by physicians throughout the year. Great way to support the Center and learn the latest medical advances in a variety of areas. those who sign up now will receive premier seating at the Celebration of Life Luncheon on March 7th.
