FOOD: Kettle & Brine is teaming up with Freedmen’s to host a craft cocktail workshop, Saturday, June 18th. Spend an afternoon with your dad learning how to make creative summer cocktails that pair perfectly with Evan LeRoy’s lauded Central Texas barbecue. The event includes all-you-can-eat BBQ, cocktails, as well as a few craft cocktail must-haves. Tickets are on sale and $35 each.
FESTIVALS: Fusebox Festival is teaming up with On The Boards TV to present two FREE screenings/discussions at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar. Tickets for Germinal on June 27 and Amarillo on June 28 can be reserved online.
FOOD: For the first time in Austin, Whisler’s is teaming up with Fernet-Branca liqueur to host the 10th annual Barback Games, a series of gladiator-style bar challenges, on Sunday, June 12. The event features a tantalizing pig and goat roast and cocktails, along with live music by DJ Chicken George.

That’s what happens each Thursday evening as Uncle Billy’s hosts its Honky Tonk Happy Hour. Weekly from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and drink specials from 4:00 to 9:00 pm.
