ART: The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum opens their new exhibition titled Mentoring a Muse: Charles Umlauf & Farrah Fawcett, bringing the one-time student’s and professor’s art together for the first ever exhibition. The Blanton Museum of Art generously lend over thirty objects to the exhibit. The UMLAUF will present these works plus others from the UMLAUF and private collections — many of which have never been seen. The exhibit runs February 16 through August 20, 2017.  The Opening Reception will take place Thursday, February 16th from 6-8 pm, and is free and open to the public.

FOOD:  The Brewer’s Table continues its pop-up tour with an appearance at Austin Beerworks newly opened tap room, Sunday, February 19th. The afternoon pop-up will feature an early taste of the forthcoming restaurant and brewery, with pours of the team’s signature Common Lager brewed by Austin Beerworks and complimentary bites. The event is free and open to the public. RSVP via The Brewer’s Table Facebook event.

SPORTS: The Austin Huns Rugby club’s next home game is this Saturday, February 18 at 3:30pm against their arch rivals, the Austin Blacks. Matches are played at 4107 Nixon Lane in Northeast/Central Austin, less than 8 miles from downtown. GA and VIP tickets to the inner city rivalry game are still available for purchase online.

FITNESS: For all you downtown residents holding out for SoulCycle to open downtown, wait no longer. The NYC-based spin standout has rolled into town and set up shop at 401 Congress Avenue, on the ground floor of Frost Tower, the second in Austin after the Domain. Classes are available at all times of day and 7 days a week. For schedules and more information, check out their site.
