Celebrate #RIO2016 @ South Congress Hotel, Rock Rose All Access, Boteco at Central Standard, Yogalotus Grand Opening

FOOD: Tonight, August 4th, South Congress Hotel celebrates the opening of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games with red, white & blue Brazilian caipirinhas and Brazilian foods grilled by Executive Chef Michael Paley in the courtyard from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Expect to hear live music, snap photos in Vannagram & Co’s vintage Volkswagen and enjoy specials from the hotel’s retail partners.

COMMUNITY: Domain NORTHSIDE’s Rock Rose presents Rock Rose All Access on Saturday, August 13th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. With a Rock Rose All Access pass, event-goers will receive an array of offerings from the development’s boutiques, restaurants and bars. Also included is a morning yoga session from Corepower Yoga on Rock Rose, benefiting Urban Roots. All Access passes can be purchased online.

FOOD: Brazilian street food truck Boteco teams up with Central Standard to celebrate the Summer Olympics by creating a menu of traditional Brazilian favorites, available off-the-menu during dinner service Sunday, August 7th through Thursday, August 11th. Guests can try the full tasting menu with a friend for $38, or order specials a la carte for the table. Dinner reservations are suggested.

FITNESS: North Central Austin gets a new yoga option this weekend when Yogalotus celebrates its debut with an open house event on Saturday, August 6th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tours, food, libations, prizes and vendor specials on clothing & accessories from the in-house boutique are all planned. The studio is located inside the West Koenig Flats development on West 56th at Avenue F.
