ARTS: This weekend, W Austin invites you to TURN IT UP FOR CHANGE and celebrate Austin Pride as they exhibit works from the innovative graffiti artist Baron Von Fancy. The installation runs through Sunday and includes an exclusive Snapchat campaign in support of LGBT equality, with $1 from each snap benefiting Human Rights Campaign. TONIGHT’s unveiling event from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. includes appearances by the artist and is hosted by Cupcake and Sabel Scities.
FOOD: With Labor Day sneaking up us, Searsucker has announced it’s hosting brunch on both Sunday, September 4th and Monday, September 5th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Holiday revelers can enjoy food, uniquely crafted cocktails and fun, upbeat tunes sure to keep your Sunday Funday rolling into Monday like only a three-day weekend allows.
ENTERTAINMENT: Summer may be coming to a close, but Gibson Street Bar‘s Sunday Movie Night is still going strong. Moviegoers can bring their own lawn chairs, pets and friends to the parking lot series through October. The free event includes complimentary popcorn, with themed cocktails also available for sale.
