Mamma Jamma Ride

You know, Austin Social Planner has more than a couple of great friends who are not only highly-involved in the 3rd annual Mamma Jamma Ride, but have also taken their own personal stories of surviving breast cancer and channeled that positive energy into making this fun and soul-filling fundraiser go off without a hitch. With the goal to raise much-needed funds for Central Texas citizens facing this beast of a disease.

A perennial favorite, this ride saves and improves the lives of our friends and neighbors by supporting 11 local nonprofit organizations that serve thousands of Central Texans. Since the inaugural ride in 2009, the Mamma Jamma Ride has raised over $1,000,000…and the goal for 2011 is to raise another $500,000!

The Mamma Jamma Ride is open to all levels of riding experience, and celebrates each and every participant. It’s a ride for the entire family , with route distances to suit just about everyone, and one that is fully supported by an enthusiastic team of volunteers. Come on…the weather is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend…sounds like a perfect time to take a ride for a great cause, don’t you think, Austin?
