La Dolce Vita
Ah, the sweet life in Austin. The finest wines and spirits, the most delicious food available, a delectable feast of riparian entertainment if you will. All taking place on the grounds of an architecturally-impressive Mediterranean pile that also happens to be the Austin Museum of Art’s birthplace and satellite exhibition space.
Of course, we’re talking about Laguna Gloria and AMOA’s wildly-popular annual tasting event, the fabulous La Dolce Vita. Now able to imbibe in a drink itself at the ripe old age of 21, the 2010 incarnation of this venerable fundraiser takes place on Thursday and highlights the food of more than 50 of the best restaurants and chefs in Central Texas, not to mention some of the finest adult beverage purveyors around. For those with the most discerning of tastes, there will also be a Scotch and cigar lounge available…perfect for those who need a little pampering…or just to flee the other revelers for a while. Eat, drink and be merry, my friends. You can count on Austin Social Planner to do the same!
