A Celebration of Ellsworth Kelly’s ‘Austin’

February 10 @ 6:00 PM

TABLES FOR THE EXCLUSIVE GRAND OPENING DINNER FOR ELLSWORTH KELLY’S AUSTIN HAVE NOW SOLD OUT.

If you would like to be placed on a wait-list, should space become available, please contact: Anna Berns, Director of Development: 512.232.2327 | anna.berns@blantonmuseum.org

This special evening will serve as the exclusive unveiling of Ellsworth Kelly’s most lasting legacy, Austin—a 2,715-square-foot stone building with luminous colored glass windows, a totemic wood sculpture, and fourteen black-and-white stone panels in marble.  The only freestanding building designed by renowned artist, Kelly envisioned Austin as a site for joy and contemplation. This monumental work of art will become a cornerstone of the Blanton’s permanent collection and enrich the lives of generations of visitors. To learn more about the project, please click here.

Austin will open to the public on Sunday, February 18, 2018.
