For those who may not know, what are the FAVE Awards?

The FAVE Awards are Austin’s only local business awards created by young professionals, for young professionals. Each year, Austin Young Chamber members organize the awards to recognize our favorite Austin ventures and enterprises.

What type of companies can be nominated for a FAVE Award?

There is a category for just about any type of business here in Austin! There are 16 award categories this year, including FAVE Small Business, FAVE Innovative Company, and FAVE Local No-Profit.

Can anyone nominate a company?

Yes! Nominations are open to the community at large. The companies who receive the most nominations will become finalists.

How are the winners selected?

In September, AYC members will have the opportunity to vote for their FAVEs. We will host a Finalist Reveal Party on September 7 at Caroline, and members will cast their votes over the next two weeks.

Tell us a little more about the actual FAVE Awards party.

The FAVE Awards Gala is a black-tie affair and will be at the JW Marriott this year. Guests will include AYC members, sponsors, community leaders and FAVE award finalists. The event will begin with a hosted cocktail hour, and then the awards presentation will occur over a three-course meal. After the awards, guests will be invited to an exclusive after party.

The FAVE Awards Gala will be held on November 10, 2017. Sponsorship opportunities are now available. And don’t forget to nominate your favorite companies today!
