What is Austin Social Planner?

Austin Social Planner is an online, digital magazine and interactive calendar website. We are committed to highlighting the varied events and happenings that take place in our city year round. To that point, we have weekly featured events and an event calendar that users can tailor to best fit their planning needs.

What happens when I submit an event?

Once an event is submitted using our online form, the submission is reviewed by our staff to verify that all the information is accurate before adding it to the calendar. This process can take up to 5 business days.

What types of events qualify for listing on the calendar?

Austin Social Planner is the open to many types of events, including, but not limited to: fundraising events, galas, opening nights, movie premieres, major festivals, major sporting events, parades, run/walks, holiday events, product launches, fashion events, benefits and art/culture events.

How can I update my event listing after it is submitted?

You can email us at info@austinsocialplanner.com with updated or additional information for your listing. Please note “Update – EVENT NAME & DATE” in the subject line of your email.

My event is an invitation-only event. Should I still add it to the calendar?

We encourage you to list invitation-only events because it allows other event planners and organizations to see when your big event is taking place, and therefore can plan their own events accordingly.

How do I get my event covered by Austin Social Planner?

We feature events on Austin Social Planner prior to the event and recap afterward. To have your event considered, please email us at info@austinsocialplanner.com. Thanks!
